The Scriptures
We believe the Scriptures, both the Old and the New Testaments, to be the verbally inspired Word of God, inerrant in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men and the final and only authority for all Christian faith and life.
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three persons are one, equal in power and glory, and each having a distinct part in the work of salvation.
Jesus
We believe that Jesus Christ is both true God and true man, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, that by His sinless life and vicarious death on Calvary's Cross, He is mankind's only Savior and way to God, that He arose bodily from the dead, that He ascended into Heaven, where at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate, that someday He will return for His own redeemed people and judge the world with equity.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine person, equal with God the Son and God the Father; that He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment; that He is the agent in the New Birth; and that He indwells, seals, sanctifies, teaches, and comforts those who believe in Jesus Christ.
Man
We believe that man was created in the image of God, and not evolved, that he fell through sin, that he is now totally depraved, and that unless he is born again he can neither see nor enter the Kingdom of God.
Atonement
We believe that man must accept or reject Jesus Christ as Savior, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed blood. That by accepting Christ, man will be accepted of God and is passed from death to life, that by rejecting Christ, man is lost for time and eternity.
The Resurrection
We believe in the resurrection of the body, in the conscious and eternal bliss of the saved, and in the eternal punishment of the lost.
The Ordinances
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ established the ordinances; Water Baptism and Communion, to be observed in His church, during this present age: that Baptism is administered by the immersion of the believer in water, and the Elements of Communion, bread and wine, symbolize the body and blood of Christ, and are not to be regarded as a means of salvation. The Lord's Supper is the remembrance of the Lord's death until He comes, and should be observed only by believers after solemn self- examination.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is wholly of God's grace, received alone through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, that it is entirely apart from human works, but that it produces good works as its fruits. We believe that it is the blessed privilege of every believer to know that he is saved and that he is eternally secure in Christ Jesus.
The Church
We believe in the Church, a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and of which all regenerated persons are members. This universal Church is the body of Christ into which all believers are baptized by the Holy Spirit. We believe that the local church is a congregation of believers who have been baptized by immersion upon a credible confession of faith, and voluntarily associated for worship, fellowship and service. Its mission is to witness concerning its Head, Jesus Christ, preaching the Gospel among all nations. We believe that each local church shall govern its own affairs under the leadership and lordship of all its living and ascended Christ, and is not subservient to any ruling board or denomination.
Witnessing
We believe that it is the responsibility of every Christian to be a witness for the Lord Jesus Christ, such witnessing to be in harmony with New Testament order: that it is the mission of the church to preach the Gospel throughout the whole world.
The Second Coming of Christ
We believe in the "Blessed Hope", the personal pre millennial, and imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Satan
We believe in the reality and personality of Satan, known also as the Devil; and that he is the god of this world, the enemy of God and man, and that he is destined to the judgment of the lake of fire.
